The Elbjazz Festival in Hamburg
Today I am going to the 2-day jazz festival in Hamburg, called ELBJAZZ. It is the second jazz festival in Hamburg with 50 concerts on 10 stages. Among many others there are artists like Charlie Haden, Don Grusin, Kurt Elling, Nils Landgren, Nik Bärtsch, Nicola Conte and Paolo Nutini. This year the festival comes with an ELBJAZZ iphone app, which is quite a nice gadget. As anyone needs a mobile app, ELBJAZZ is no different. The app contains the concert shedule, maps, routes and infos about all artists. In addition news and an “on air” feature have been integrated. If you want to win tickets for the next year’s ELBJAZZ festival, you can participate in a photo reporter contest. Take some nice photos with the iphone and submit them within the app. The best photos will be picked and the reporter will take the prize.
