LEICA M MONOCHROM “DRIFTER” by Kravitz Design

In May 2019, Leica released another special edition LEICA M Monochrom (Typ 246) camera designed in collaboration with Lenny Kravitz through his design firm Kravitz Design. The camera comes in a set with Summicron-M 28 f/2 ASPH. and 75 f/2 ASPH. lenses and is limited to 125 pieces and is portrayed as a reflection of the artist’s persona. It is conveniently names “Drifter”.
This is already the second custom made special edition produced in collaboration with Lenny Kravitz and also the preceding LEICA M-P (Typ 240) “CORRESPONDENT” was one of its kind. It came in a set with a Summicron-M 35 mm f/2 ASPH and a Summilux-M 50 mm f/1.4 ASPH. lens. The kit was limited to 125 pieces and was made available in March 2015 and was also associated with Kravitz Design.
