During my latest trip to New York, I went up to the One World Observatory at One World Trade Center. While waiting in line, I looked up and took this shot with my iPhone. Among an amazing view to start the day, I enjoyed a few other of my favourite perks walking around town.
Apparently, there is a new showcase of photos taken with iPhone 6 on Apple’s Homepage. According to news at at macrumors.com it is just the beginning of a larger campaign:
“[…] involving 77 photographers, 70 cities and 24 countries. Apple will be featuring photos taken with an iPhone 6 in print media, transit posters and billboards across the world.”

I spent some time on the Seychelles, the islands of Praslin and La Digue to be precise. All photos were taken with an iPhone.
Apparently, there is a new Leica Shop or Boutique in the making in San Francisco at 463 Bush St. No sign indicates, when it will be opening – but a notice says, building operations will continue until July 3 2014. Unfortunately, I won’t be around by then but maybe you will be there to take a look…
Here are some impressions from Apple’s World Wide Developer Conference 2014 (WWDC) at Moscone Center in San Francisco. The motto of the conference was “Write the code, change the world” which fitted perfectly the introduction of Swift, a new programming language developed by Apple to replace Objective-C for developing application in the Apple ecosystem.
On friday, 11.11.11, I enjoyed Steve Lukather on his All’s Well That End Well tour live on stage at the Markthalle in Hamburg. He was accompanied by Eric Valentine on drums, Renee Jones on bass and the marvelous Steve Weingart on keyboards. As a huge fan of TOTO and Steve himself, it is needless to say, it was a great show.
